London Funeral Piper
Colman is a London based, uilleann piper. He won uilleann piper of the year as well as becoming an All Britain Champion. He was one of the principal teachers at the London Pipers Club for many years. He also performs frequently in London, the UK and around Europe.
For centuries the uilleann pipes have been an intrinsic part of Irish musical culture. They produce an intimate sound well suited to indoor as well as outdoor playing.
The seated piper lends a reflective and non-intrusive quality to your occasion, whilst playing beautiful airs such as ‘Danny Boy’, ‘Down By The Sally Gardens’, ‘She Moved Through The Fair;
as well as other beautiful melodies such as ’Amazing Grace’.
He has much experience playing for funerals and is very happy to discuss and advise you on all musical aspects with regards to the service and/or graveside. He is also able to learn any piece you specify, tailoring it to suit your needs.
